Very disappointing experience with Turtle Wings.
First of all, the delivery took 11 days, which is probably the longest delivery time Iāve experienced for an order like this.
When the product finally arrived, the metal print was dented/bent at the corner. I contacted Turtle Wings regarding the issue, and their response was essentially that I should place the print on a flat surface, cover it with a cloth, and gently tap the metal with a rubber hammer to fix it myself.
Honestly, I donāt think thatās an acceptable solution. Iām paying for a finished product, and I expect it to arrive properly finished and free from defects. I shouldnāt have to repair the product myself because of damage that occurred before it reached me.
On top of that, the image quality/pixels were not as good as I expected. The print does not look as sharp or detailed as I was hoping for.
What makes this even more disappointing is that I specifically ordered this product to test Turtle Wingsā quality and overall experience before placing an order for three large prints for my setup. After this experience, Iām honestly hesitant to place that larger order. If the same issue happens again, I donāt want to be in a situation where Iām once again asked to fix the product myself with a ātap-tapā solution.
I was hoping this order would give me confidence to place a much larger order. Unfortunately, it has done the opposite.
